The good news is that you can connect your Blu-ray DVD player with your TV even if your television does not have an HDMI port. You can enjoy high definition picture and sound through your Television with the help of component cables. The only disadvantage could be that the number of cables required is more.
You will require the below things:
· One Composite audio cable
· One Component video cable
Step-by-step instruction to connect Blu-ray DVD player to a TV
· By using the Component cable, connect one end of the component video cable to the “component out port” of the Blu-ray DVD player. But make sure to match the cable colours properly with the port colours. A small mismatch with the colour combination may fail to provide the required results.
· Now connect the other end of the component video cable to the Television’s component in port. The ports could be located at the rear end, on the sides or in the front. Do make sure to match the cable colours and port colours properly HDMI

· The video input and output are connected successfully. However, the audio signal connection is missing. This will be done with the help of composite audio cables.
· The composite audio cable will have one red and one white cable. Connect it with the Audio out port of the Blu-ray DVD player. Again make sure to match the colours. Now similarly, take the other end of the composite audio cable and connect it to the Audio In port of the television. This final step will ensure that the connection setup is successfully done.

回复删除Yes, this is really useful.It's been about 3 months since I bought this for a friend and have had no problems whatsoever. Picture looks great, the cables were pretty sturdy so no signs of wear or tears.
